Branding Infrastructure

Info

Studyportals connects students with education opportunities worldwide and helps universities reach international audiences. Supporting these distinct audiences requires teams across the organisation to communicate consistently, with brand resources that are accessible and practical to use. Brand assets were distributed across multiple locations, without a central template system or established creative workflows. This created friction in everyday production and increased reliance on the design team for routine requests. The challenge was to establish a connected brand infrastructure that could support greater independence across teams while maintaining clear standards. The focus was on making assets easier to find, guidance easier to apply, and consistent communication easier to produce as the organisation’s needs evolved.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED:

I built a dedicated SharePoint, Brand Hub and DAM structure, bringing previously scattered brand resources into one central, governed location. It housed everything from colour and typography to illustration libraries, icons, approved imagery and reusable assets. Guidance lived alongside the assets themselves, with practical examples, tips for non-designers and an FAQ covering recurring questions. The Brand Hub later became part of our Microsoft Copilot setup. Brand resources and approved PowerPoint templates were connected to Copilot, allowing colleagues to create branded presentations and content using the same approved materials that informed the rest of our creative work.
